Maryland didn't last long, which is okay with me because it was pretty rocky! The good people of Boonsboro, back in 1827, took some of the rocks and made a monument to George Washington...maybe not quite as elegant as the one in DC, but still impressive!
Now that I'm in the North, I can say Appalayshun instead of Appalatchin...and not be corrected..!
