Here we go...!

Leaving this weekend for Georgia! It's sort of hard to believe after all this time thinking, planning and talking about hiking, I've actually got to go and do it.

I'll be keeping the "Trail Update" block on the sidebar actually up to date with my location, pace, etc. and posting pictures whenever I can, so check this space often!  I'll also be using Twitter (@rickmerrill) to post updates as well. I promise I'll try not to whine too much about the cold, rain, (snow?!), sore feet, aching back, etc, etc...
