Home

When I called this blog "Walking Home", this is what I meant: the family camp, designed and built by my dad, on Nash's Lake in Downeast Maine.

I've been here for a couple of days now, resting my legs, eating blueberries and drinking beer. I think I'm starting to regain some feeling in the toes that have been numb since Virginia and I know I'm gaining some weight back. I do plan to go to the doctor sometime soon just to make sure I didn't pick up Lyme disease somewhere along the trail, but I feel great overall, so I'm not too worried about it. It feels wonderful not to have to put on the pack every day!
