My shipmate Bob met me in Delaware Water Gap to feed and resupply me, and the next day I walked across the bridge over the Delaware River into New Jersey!
There was a bunch of us that left that morning and some hikers carried out whole pies to celebrate getting through Pennsylvania. That's Dutch, Pumpkin Head, me-Draggin' Fly, Wanderlust, and Hufflepuff. We went swimming and then had pie! I didn't carry out a pie, but I did share the Scotch that Bob brought me! It was a pretty good day on the trail!
